Ixarum Trade Security Act (ITSA)
ITSLA001: All commercial and non-military vessels transiting through the Ixarum system are subject to a Trade Security Levy administered by the Governor’s Office.
ITSLA001a: The levy shall be assessed proportionally to cargo volume and declared value, and is to fund system defense, convoy protection, and maintenance of orbital traffic infrastructure.
ITSLA001b: Failure to comply with inspection, declaration, or payment procedures shall result in immediate impoundment of cargo and vessel until full restitution is made.
ITSLA001c: Repeated evasion or falsification of manifests constitutes an act of economic treason and will be prosecuted accordingly.
ITSLA001d: Vessels, shipments, and operations conducted under the direct authority of the Dark Lord are exempt from all levies, inspections, and associated administrative delays.
Current Levy rates: Standard 5-7% based on volume and value. 10% for higher risk cargo.
Trade Agreement: Ixarum and Damolla
The Office of the Governor of Ixarum has announced the formalization of an accord with the Governorship of Damolla.
The agreement is as follows:
Damolla has invested toward the development of Ixarum's infrastructure, reinforcing the vision of transforming the world into a strategically secure bastion. Additionally, Damolla will provide sustained shipments of foodstuffs to Ixarum IV's military at wholesale pricing for 1 standard year, ensuring that the garrison world’s population and stationed personnel remain provisioned.
In recognition of this investment and material contribution to Ixarum’s development, Damollan exports transiting the Ixarum system will receive a 65% reduction to the ITSA levies, effective immediately.
This pact effectively reduces the overall cost of Damollan agricultural exports while assuring Ixarum IV's military remains well supplied, and its planetary security increased.
The Tobrade-Ixarum Accord (TIA)
TIA001: Tobrade and Ixarum hereby enter into a temporary accord to better ensure Dominion security and trade efficiency.
TIA002: All trade, merchant and freight vessels originating from, or transporting to, the planet of Tobrade are hereby exempt from Ixarum Trade Security Act (ITSA) legislation.
TIA003: Tobrade will begin assisting the enforcement of ITSA legislation through the temporary assignment of military vessels to ensure the security of Ixarum's territory.
TIA004: The sovereignty of Ixarum's territorial borders will be maintained, respected and supported by Tobrade's Imperial bureaucracy while ITSA legislation remains in place.
TIA005: The sovereignty and security of Tobrade's borders shall be maintained, respected and supported by Ixarum's Imperial bureaucracy while ITSA legislation remains in place.
