Soon after the powerbase's return from Ekirus, the Dominion's recovery and expansion efforts came with new demands. To meet the demand for fuel across the Dominion, the refineries of Veskar were established by the authority of the planetary governor. Importing the raw products from elsewhere in the Dominion, the refineries seek to purify them en masse into fuel for vehicles and starships alike. The size of it approximates a city in span and offers accommodations for its workers, whether living on-site in permanent residences or commuting from the other cities.
The refined fuels are exported into the wider Dominion to serve in both construction efforts and refueling the diverse fleets, with priority given to the navy. A permanent and standing contract exists between the Veskar refineries and the Terya orbital station, seeing regular transport inbetween to keep the refueling services of the station widely, readily accessible.
