As evening slowly approached, many citizens of the the district gathered as they joined in lighting the candles, many staying there until sundown. However, such a gathering was hardly to go unnoticed as a small number of Imperials and familiar droids began to pile into the square. They stayed on the sidelines as they took watch over the gathering, keeping an eye out for commotion. The folk seemed to be a little on edge, but the Unwired tried to keep their attention on the center, mentioning how everything was going to be alright.

Night slowly fell, a sea of candles appearing in front of the tarp as behind it there were many citizens of Jiaka standing or sitting on the floor covered with provided blankets. Two Unwired slowly shuffled to the center following a Red skinned female Togruta. The woman turned to the people as she spoke with a loud voice.

"Citizens of Jiaka! This has been an incredibly tragic and horrific week, forces threatening our very home, our very existance. So many lives were lost in its' defence, so many people lost their lives defending their homes against the Marauders. Why? Why must we suffer even more. Do not get it wrong, this has unfortunately been brewing for a long time. We have been under the fist of ruthless gangs, and people who would only exploit Jiaka for their own gain while the dekkos are away. But worry not, today we showed that we -can- and -will- persevere. Not only will the Unwired keep you safe and fed, but most importanly - We'll keep an eye on eachother. Do not forsake your neighbour as only through unity we will be able to turn Jiaka into a home for us all, a home we all deserve!"

The two Unwired then pulled the two ropes holding up the tarp as it fell, unveiling a large sculpture made out of metal and scrap.

The inscription below it read:
"Jiaka - Child of Unity. This monument is dedicated to all of the lives that have been lost during the horrific event that transpired between 04/05 and 11/05. They layed down their lives so that we may build a brighter tomorrow, a better Jiaka. They will not be forgotten."

Without much fanfare, and under the personal watch of Lord Nar, the five prisoners removed from the Bastion were returned to it.

Five pillars were erected in the central square of Calix, in the Jiaka district. Towering durasteel that rose from the cracked ferrocrete with floodlights mounted high above, casting harsh beams down. Around the plaza, the shattered remains of apartment blocks and storefronts sat in ruin, blackened from days of fighting.

Crowds had gathered in uneasy silence behind lines of armed security droids, every alleyway and elevated walkway was occupied by patrols, turning the plaza into a fortified stage for the unfolding spectacle.

High above the crowd, five individuals hung restrained against the towering pillars chained by the wrist, battered and stripped of any personal belongings, dressed in prison uniforms.

Then from beneath the towering banners and floodlights, Captain Serevan Valen stepped forward. His image displayed on holo-screens across the planet for all to see.

Captain Serevan Valen: "Citizens of Jiaka. For seven days these insurgents brought chaos to your streets. They hid among the innocent while your homes burned and your families suffered. Now justice will be done."

Valen slowly turned towards the prisoners suspended above the plaza.

Captain Serevan Valen: "Behold the consequence of sedition. These insurgents and all identified co-conspirators have been judged guilty of treason against the Empire. They will remain here for one week, to suffer the same amount of time the people did. On the seventh day, their sentences will be concluded by public execution."

Valen offered a nod as two lines of soldiers formed either side of the pillars, the broadcast ending soon after and the five being left suspended under the watchful eye of Imperial Forces to undergo their first night.

Earlier in the evening, a small caravan of nine members from the Steel Serpents rode in on their swoop bikes, clearing the Imperial checkpoint after a brief discussion that was about to turn heated before an Imperial guard captain settled it. None of the known leadership was part of those arriving but they all seemed fairly experienced, in a not too trigger-happy kind of way.

In the coming days, they would roam the streets in Calix and catch the downtrodden for a few questions regarding their experience and knowledge of the Southdown Marauders. Though they never turned violent on anyone, they also didn't ask politely, and were visibly armed with blaster pistols and scatterguns.
