Unlike conventional racing facilities, the Halo Circuit does not consist of a single artificial structure, but instead the course is built entirely in outer space, defined by a series of rings and beacons positioned to keep the racers on track. The circuit was designed to utilize the natural asteroid formations of Little Sister to further challenge the racers, the markers allowing the use of the formations while allowing the formation itself to create much of the track itself. Operated by Oasis Entertainment, the circuit is centered around a dedicated viewing hub, Halo Station, which serves as the primary spectator and operational facility.
Halo Station is located at the center of the circuit, it has a maximum capacity of approximately 500 spectators. The station itself provides multiple options for spectators, ranging from general standing areas to luxurious, private spectator boxes. The latter can be further customized with hospitality services or catering.
Large viewports ensure that the spectators have eyes on the racers as they traverse the sections closest to the station itself, while large monitors around the station broadcast footage caught by camera drones strategically placed around the course itself, allowing spectators to follow the race through each step of the way. The station also provides commentary and race information.
In addition to the spectator facilities, the station offers operational infrastructure to coordinate the races; including race control, communications, repairs and other support facilities for the participating racers.
