Known Background
Born and raised as a slave on a rugged planet unkind to civilized life, Shava, or Number 6 (The last person to call him such was a smelter foreman, who can not speak since. Or see.), was formed by hard work and a dogged resistance to authority. If a visiting Sith Lord did not notice his Force sensitivity and did not commandeer his life to be sent to Korriban, Shava most likely would have been put down as faulty product.
Instead, much to the annoyance of the Academy, he thrived. He took to combat like a fish to water and showed a surprising aptitude for Sith philosophy and mysticism. Early on during this training another acolyte referred to him as a 'demon' due to his physical strength, appreciation of the carnal, and penchant for decisive violence. Such an epithet pleased his ego so much that Shava started to consciously cultivate this air. Granted his attitude branded him for many Overseers as the "Embarrassment of the Academy" but he became Sith regardless. Naturally with such an infamy, Shava was never chosen by any master.
It was not until he left Korriban to see more of the galaxy and shed some blood on the side of the Empire that he received a mysterious invitation to a certain flagship.
Known Skills & Expertise
Shava is a heavy-handed and brutal fighter, relying on his body to control the flow of a fight and devastate his opponents. Despite fitting the preconception of "big dumb alien hit things", he can be surprisingly refined and technical with his saberwork.
While having some way of externalizing his control over the Force, most of Shava's mystical skills are inward-focused enhancing himself. That said there are some signs that his voracious appetites also could manifest in his Force skills...
Outside of combat Shava is somewhat proficient in metallurgy and horticulture, having slaved away in foundries and plantations.
During his time in the Academy he also found a tremendous interest in any and all forms of Sith knowledge, artifice, and mysteries; and is very eager to learn from any source that presents itself.
