Situated on the edge of the system near the Republic border, renamed, Outpost Cinders was once a provisional outpost following the uneventful Imperial conquest of the system, over time having prepared for long-term operations it has been converted into a forward observation base and first line of defence against any potential threats.
The base is separated into two sections; a fortified outer compound and a secured inner facility.
The outer compound, once dubbed Eclipse Yard, is an expanse of durasteel walls with guard towers and defensive turrets at regular intervals that provide protection to the exterior barracks, armories and vehicle bays which occupy it.
The inner facility is a sealed, bunker-like structure, secured through armored checkpoints and blast doors which protect the operations and command centers, along with medical facilities and detention suites.
Though compact by military standards, Outpost Cinders can accommodate up to two thousand soldiers at any time.

Once a chaotic, unstable asteroid, Vortex Pinnacle has recently been repurposed by the Sith Empire as a provisional outpost. Despite the risks, the Empire sees its strategic potential and has begun developing security and infrastructure on the asteroid.
Shadow Keep: A command centre for the Sith’s early operations in the system, currently under construction but already serving as a key coordination hub.
Eclipse Yard: A fledgling facility where Sith equipment and starships are being assembled and maintained, preparing the outpost for long-term operations.
