Makashi Calligraphy

Venesya stood over the old parchment, she had taken a large roll from the Academy before she had left when she became a Sith. They wouldn't miss it surely. The woman ran her fingers gently over the black brush before picking it up, next to it was an inkwell with the Serana's Family crest on the top. A silver lily with a golden star hovering above it.

She opened the inkwell and dipped the brush into it, then began moving it across the parchment, she had always loved calligraphy, it was a way to show emotions and train saber skills at the same time to her.

As always her flow was immaculate, a clean sharp curve to each letter. But also as usual there were suddenly minor hiccups, her thoughts becoming part of it. She kept her focus, it was something that made them even better. Her emotions became part of it.

The first one was a too sharp turn, the interview with Lord Anairith, someone who questioned her every word. Told her she was wrong. She was thankful, she wanted to learn.

It began balancing out again, the curves returning to the letters as he wrist swirled to make sure it never became too sharp. Then it fell down a bit too far. The meeting in the cantina with the other Incipients and Sith. The hate she had gotten from being a Noble, she was used to it. Her actions would show she was more, that she would become more.

The final word became more beautiful than what she had ever created, her own emerald eyes unable to even hide the surprise. The mission with Lord Sendahl and the others, it had gone well and for the first time she had worked -with- Sith, instead of always being alone. Then Prime Blokk who had shown her just how weak she still was and how far she still had to go.

The Sith took a step back and breathed out deeply, it never took long but it always took her breath away as she looked over the parchment.
"Nu valia xauti nuyak pyktis ir darytis viekis"
She whispered the words to herself, resolve and ambition surging through her.
"I will find my anger and become strong."
