Known Background
Born a literal nerfherder (actually, they were Uxibeasts, but what's the difference, really?) on Uxio, on enlistment Jens was initially assigned as a medic for an alien conscript battallion, the official thinking being that her farm veterinary expertise was enough for non-human scum. Several years there taught her enough battlefield first aid and triage skills (as well as a fair amount of alien anatomy) to earn her promotion and reassignment. In the way of all armies, however, her promised cushy posting on a hospital ship turned into combat service with the Support Battallion for the 295th Pacification Brigade, 'Iron Pillars'.
Severely injured in an insurgent attack, Jens has only recently recovered, finding herself rather unexpectedly transferred to the Zula SOG- and wondering who she annoyed so badly to get there.
Known Skills & Expertise
A better-than-average pistol shot, and passable with a shotgun, Kellen's main strengths lie in field first aid, triage, and emergency surgery. Her working-class upbringing plus her service have left her fairly stoic, so she doesn't rattle easily.
