Fleshing out the thoughts

Venesya sat down at her desk, she opened the drawer and a loud squelching sound was heard as she grabbed something inside of it.
She lifted out the flesh covered journal that Qute had given her, she tilted her head to the side as she still didn't know if she liked the style or not, but it was hers and the first gift she had ever gotten.

The Incipient took a small knife from her pocket and cut her finger, enough for it to bleed. She ran the finger over the flesh, smearing the front of it with her blood. It was hers now.

Her fingers ran over the small brush on the side of the metal table before picking it up, dipping it into the ink she had gotten from Lord Sendahl, then she wrote in her usual calligraphy style of very rounded beautiful letters. Everything was written in Sith.

"Broken and remade. I learned this today by Prime Blokk, that's how you make things in Alchemy.
By breaking it and then remaking to make it greater. Words to live by I told her, and I meant that.
She told me that choosing the perfect sacrifice is important, like the strongest puncher if you wanted to make something to do with punching. That if a metal cuts you when you work with it, it could be good for something that can cut because it has shown you. There's so much thought and planning that's put into this.

And all it has done is making me more passionate, that you have to think about so many variables and the more time you spend the more likely you are to succeed. Just like how when you try to perfect yourself, you'll never reach perfection, but it's the path towards it that's exciting and see where you end up.

That's all for now. Now I need to figure out how to piss off a Lord without getting killed in the process. Because that would make it difficult to learn more."

She closed the book with a shaky hand, so many emotions ran through her. Fear of what she needed to do, passion of what she would learn and how much stronger she would be from doing it, anger that it had taken her so long to choose her own path and begin breaking the many chains still holding her.
