Dominion University
To Know is to Rule.
Within High Dominion in Carano City, where marble terraces overlook the city and the River Mart gleams below, construction has completed on Dominion University, the intellectual crown of the Zula Dominion. Built to rival the finest institutions in the Tharin Sector, the University will stand as both a citadel of knowledge and a monument to the Dominion’s enduring order. To Know is to Rule.

The campus spreads across multiple tiers, the highest reserved for the Chancellor’s Forum and the Tower of Oratory, with descending terraces devoted to the five grand faculties. To the north, the land transitions into Lunacor Heights, where many of the Dominion’s great families maintain estates and from which most of the University’s future students will come. It is said the university was deliberately positioned to overlook both the seat of power and the homes of privilege, a symbolic bridge between governance and legacy.
Purpose and Prestige
Dominion University was conceived as a centre of learning for the Dominion's future leaders. Its graduates will not toil in factories or starports, but instead become administrators, military officers and thinkers. This purpose contrasts starkly with Zula University located in Torren's Landing, where the education is focused on more practical applications of knowledge. The university is currently home to five distinct faculties, four of which seem to neatly fit this purpose. The fifth however, is something of an oddity, with a focus on hard science and engineering. It appears the Dark Lord personally insisted on this unusual addition.

Campus Life
The University’s colleges compete fiercely for prestige in oratory, policy, and science. Rival societies are being established, with important members of the Dominion being requested to serve as Patrons. Graduates of Zula University already deride their Carano counterparts as “pampered philosophers.” In reply, Dominion students call them “mere workers". Practical, perhaps, but never powerful.
With the great bronze gates of the Hall of Ascendants finally open for the first graduating class, the Dominion expects nothing less than brilliance, for it is from here that the next generation of governors, ministers, and advisers will rise.
