Established south of Vorya and staffed primarily by citizens either commuting from it or having relocated away from the city to permanently reside in the complex - the Delvar industry was formed under the authority of the planetary governor to serve Lesser Gambor. The sprawling complex approaches the size of a city in its sheer radius and accommodates workers of varying background and expertise to fill its many positions and departments. With its state ownership and funding, its focus from the beginning has strayed from profit and remained instead with development and supply - and purity of purpose.
The vast complex serves a multitude of purposes, but its primary and chief goal is the persistent development and production of pharmaceuticals to serve not only its population but, primarily, to be exported elsewhere in the Dominion and supply its many hospitals and medical facilities, whether privately or publicly owned. Since its inception, it has accepted Imperial contracts to refine production of choice drugs in hopes of making them cheaper to produce en masse, and has undertaken a number of undisclosed projects on behalf of the planetary governor and the Dominion.
