Blackcrown Reserve is a recently founded brand that focuses on creating prestigious spirits and wines with the planet's native flora and geograpyh in mind. Their vineyards were set-up to take advantage of the mineral-rich hills of Yankun that give unique depth to the wines in their product line. Their portfolio currently consists of wine and liquor, with plans to expand their product line to both beer and ale to provide a luxurious product to a larger market.

The Veil: a Miraluka inspired brandy
Bottle: made of a frosted glass, with the label's pattern being reminiscent of the folds of a Miralukan veil. The label is velvet-y to the touch and a hue of purple.
Description: Inspired by Miraluka, "The Veil" is a brandy that pours a pale gold. At first taste, pear gives it the first hint of sweetness before being hit by the acidicity of the sour apple immediately after. To give it further depth and colour, put in some blueberries for some subtle sweetness, and finishing it off with juniper and aging it in a wooden barrel to give it a soft, woody finish. It's quite dry but with a lingering sweetness.

The Chain: a herbal liqueur, inspired and potentially made with ingredients from the Expanse
Bottle: a dark green with its label matching, using hues of green and brown to conjure images of nature. It’s slightly raised to give it some texture and the feeling of trees or foliage. A little rough to the touch where it’s raised.
Description: Made up of herbs and roots, perhaps at least partially from the Expanse, The Chain has a deep medicinal quality to it. Its bitterness comes from the herbs and roots that work as its wild base, balancing it out with domesticated fruit to bring in some sweetness.

Passion: a full-bodied red wine, first in the line inspired by the Sith Code.
Bottle: Dark glass, almost black, with a deep red label in restrained typography. The bottle reveals little of the wine inside, what light passes through suggests depth rather than clarity.
Description: With grapes grown in the mineral-rich hills of Galia, "Passion" is a full-bodied red that pours a deep purple, almost opaque. At first taste, the sweetness of dark plums and blackberries hits you, followed closely by black pepper, subtle iron, and a hint of smokiness from the savanna winds that cross the vineyards in the dry season. The tannins are firm and unhurried. The finish is long, slightly bitter, and does not flatter.

Strength: a bold red blend, second in the line inspired by the Sith Code.
Bottle: Dark glass with a label in charcoal and iron grey. The bottle’s glass is thicker than others in the line, resulting in a noticeably heavier bottle.
Description: A blend of grapes from the hillside, it pours an inky red. Dark fruit and leather open it with a woody aftertaste, before finishing off with hints of iron and graphite.

Victory: a sparkling wine, third in the line inspired by the Sith Code.
Bottle: Clear glass. The label is gold on white, standing out from the rest of the bottles in the line.
Description: Grown on cooler hills where the temperature drops at night, "Victory" is a sparkling wine that pours a pale gold. Crisp green apple and fresh citrus arrive first, then the subtle taste of minerals in the middle that recalls the stone of the hillsides it came from. The finish is clean and dry.

Freedom: a late harvest dessert wine, fourth in the line inspired by the Sith Code.
Bottle: Made of a deep amber glass with a gold wax seal over the cork. Most ornate bottle in the line.
Description: Made from grapes left on the vine long past the main harvest, concentrating their sugars in peace, "Freedom" pours a deep gold. At first taste honey and dried apricot hit you almost overwhelmingly before being balanced out by the soft bitterness of orange.
