Auction Coins
When placing bids in the auction, you will be permitted to bid using the number of "Auction Coins" listed below against your respective wealth rank.

Items will be auctioned individually. If you win an item, your auction coin number is reduced by your winning bid, reducing your bidding power for further bids. If you lose a bid, your amount stays the same.

The in-character rationale for using "Auction Coins" instead of raw credits is that when you buy coins you pay a small surcharge to cover the costs of food, drink and so on for the night. This is purely flavour to explain the system and has no impact on your characters' wealth.

Please note that if you want to buy Auction Coins, you must give up your December wealth roll. If after the auction you didn't win anything, you can roll as normal for December.

When the auction is completed, the sellers will have their total winning bids rounded to the nearest wealth rank coin value, and may purchase an asset from the Wealth system for that value.

FAQ
Q. Can I set a minimum bid?
A. No, but the auction will not start from zero and will aim to have a reasonable starting price based on the item's value. You might make a loss, but you might also make a steal.

Q. Why would anyone want to sell off an item if they might make a loss?
A. If an asset holds no further value to you, and you want to refine your powerbase, it's a way to potentially get closer to what you do want.

Q. Why would anyone pay above market price?
A. To gain favour. To outbid a rival. For character reasons! If nothing else, the risk is lower to pay slightly over the odds for an asset than to roll for it.

Q. Can I only sell assets?
A. No, you can sell anything that seems reasonable to trade for.

Q. Will there be other things for sale?
A. Yes, there'll be some items inserted into the auction that are sold by NPC's, the Dark Lord and so on.

Q. Won't the rich sweep up everything?
A. Maybe.

Item NameSevrei City Disposal
Item TypeRecycling Plant (WR7)
Current OwnerLinnavi Dyze
Instant Buy 1,100

This recycling plant is the main source of recycling on the planet, able to dispose of and repurpose waste from all of the capital city. With recent wealth flowing into the coffers of Ixarum, surely more people will move there. More people = more waste = more credits for you.

Farm of Zyxar

Item NameKyrhill Farm
Item TypeTiny Farm (WR1)
Current OwnerLinnavi Dyze
Instant Buy 200

Kyrhill Farm offers one acre of fertile Zyxar soil to plant and harvest crops or raise livestock on. It is located far out in the countryside, though a transport contract already exists with a local, civilian freighter company to transport the produce to customers, should the new owner wish to continue that.

The farm is located near a hill which has some kind of old burial mound, which apparently holds varying degrees of cultural significance depending on which local you ask.

Instant Buy 200

The old Wescott Farm offers one acre of fertile Zyxar soil to plant and harvest crops or raise livestock on. It's located far out in the countryside, with a small nearby village being the closest thing to civilization.

Wescott Farm is believed by locals to be haunted due to a gruesome tragedy that occurred a few generations back. The youngest son of the Wescott family, to which the farm owes its name, annihilated his entire family with a hunting rifle before taking his own life.

Item NameShifting Shands
Item TypeGambling Hall - WR7

Instant Buy 500

Shifting Shands offers the inhabitants of Sevrei just what it advertises: an exciting escape from their bleak existence on Ixarum IV. Visitors are able to engage with a myriad of different holo betting games or play pazaak among themselves. As of yet, the gambling hall offers no sabacc tables - likely due to the lack of dealers in its employ.

Shifting Shands is funded and partially owned by the Ixarum government and Neekai'até.
Only the ownership of the latter is being auctioned.

The Iron Hunger

Item NameRi Ta Arkis (The Iron Hunger)
Item TypeArtefact
Current OwnerUnknown
Instant Buy 1100

Ri Ta Arkis is worn on the left index finger and wakes only when you are blooded; on the third breath after, the weight in your limbs relents, the lungs order themselves, and a second wind steps forward as if it had always been waiting. It ignores those who beg, growing colder. When the surge has passed, ordinary food does little to satisfy; a craving for the iron taste of blood takes hold.

Hrosma Tiger

91b6113830a35f747bdb2b4cccf349e1.png

Item NameHrosma Tiger (male)
Item TypeForce Sensitive Beast
Current OwnerLord Nar
Instant BuyN/A

Part of Lord Nar's menagerie, this male Hrosma Tiger has been in the Lord's possession for some time. Force sensitive and stubborn, it was originally captured as a test of skill. It has no name currently other than 'Cat', as is perhaps typical of the Lord's preferences towards feline species. It is two meters tall, and four meters long, making it quite a large potential pet.

Krykna

Item NameKrykna (male)
Item TypeBeast
Current OwnerLord Nar
Instant BuyN/A

Part of Lord Nar's menagerie, this two-meter tall male Krykna is one of several within the Lord's possession and has grown territorial. Rather than create it its own encloser, it is being put up for auction. Highly sensitive to negative emotions, this Krykna is practically drawn to potent Dark Side users, and responds aggressively to attempts to tame it. Its blaster-resistant hide makes it all the more interesting to subdue when necessary.
