The Void Emperor appears to be a semi-sentient whale-like species that resides within the deep recesses of the belt. Despite their immense size, no direct hostile action as yet has been recorded, leading to the belief that these creatures are not predators.
With at least two specimens sighted within the same area suggestions can be made of these two VE-1 and VE-2 are a possible migration pairing, or the potential proximity to a breeding ground.
For now data is limited but a biological relationship between the creature and the electromagnetic disturbances known as Void Shimmer has been recorded, and will be further investigated.
In a recent report, Operative Evevra'lar'klarhis, who first designated the species as a Void Emperor, documented what may be a Leviathan-Class subspecies, visually estimated to rival a Dreadnought-Class ship in size.
This assessment, however, remains disputed due to the severe sensor interference within the area. Further dedicated biological study will be required to confirm or expand upon further findings of this creature.
