Kaasi Calling
The Truth the Others Don't Dare Tell you
If you're new to the scene on Dromund Kaas, you've likely not heard of the Titans of Industry; not surprising given the fact that its creator, Lord Anairith, seems to have disappeared into some form of private refuge recently. There were rumors whether or not the Chiss Lord had perished in some conflict on the outer-edges of Empire space, that was, until the recent gala held by Lord Varrow. The Truth the Others Don't Dare Tell you
Dressed to Impress, But Who?
Lord Anairith showed up on the arm of a Pureblood, which in and of itself was enough to get tongues wagging. Her dress was extravagence in and of itself, which makes one wonder where she got the funds? Perhaps the reason Titans of Industry hasn't had a set date in nearly six standard months is because she's emptied its coffers on her latest fashion choices.

From Rags to Riches
But this is where it gets interesting, dear reader. The Chiss Lord has not always been the startling vision she displayed at the gala, far from it. In fact, we've been able to uncover an entire former career. It seems the reason Lord Anairith so rarely shows her face nowadays is that she doesn't want to be recognized. By whom, you ask? The answer is, her fans.
Lord Anairith has another name by which she is far better known, and developed quite the following. Sapphire, the exotic dancer and rumored escort, disappeared from the Nar Shaddaa night scene a few years back, right at the same moment that that our beloved Chiss appeared in the Imperial limelight.

Rumor has it Sapphire got into some trouble with Cartel Security and had to disappear, but her fans remember - especially those that got up-close and personal.
The Future for Titans
What does this stunning revelation mean for the Titans of Industry, you ask? All Sith have dark pasts, some moreso than others - and as a Lord, she's surely been around long enough to stir a pot or two. But this is the Titans of Industry. A prestigeous example of what can occur when the Empire and its partners work together towards progress. Is Sapphire really what it needs, moving forward? Especially as her attentions now seem set on fashion, and courting a new lover.
We spoke with Lord Stadol, an up-and-coming player in the Sphere of Civil Administration who had the following to say:
"Frankly, it's disappointing. You hope that what appears to be promise burns bright and true, but when the fuel behind the flame is cheap as this appears to be, it's no wonder that all efforts have stalled. I shall personally make it my mission to assure the Titans of Industry flourishes. If Lord Anairith, or Sapphire, or whatever her name really is is incapable, those of us that are stronger and without her particular... flaws, will see to it that the Empire does not lose out on a potentially viable resource."
Lord Stadol
Lord Stadol can only be thanked for her intense commitment to the Empire's integrity. Perhaps before long there will be a new face in charge of the Titans of Industry scene. One a little more uplifting, less blue.
