Powerbase,

On Zula IV, spring is fast approaching, a time often associated with new life and new beginnings.

In celebration of this fact, and to further the prosperity and visual impact of the Dominion, I intend to release a new fashion line through Evinance.

As some of you are aware, Evinance has typically drawn inspiration from the natural world, with a focus upon its predatory species, utilising leathers, fur, feathers, colouration, and shapes from both floral and fauna.

To continue this trend, this next line will be focused primarily upon the species found within our Dominion, to show the galaxy what we have to offer, and display it for all to see.

Some of you have come to me previously with such ideas; now is the time for you to claim more credit than would ordinarily be granted.

This is your opportunity to submit ideas based on the above. Show me creativity, passion, and inspiration in your portfolios, and you may have a collection named after you.

- Lord Arazhar,
Dulenir

It's art time! This time the use of AI for image generation is welcomed, if you are not the artsy type (though if you are, scribble away!), though the ideas and any text descriptions should still be your own.

Focusing on the lore entries fleshing out the Archive section of the forums [here], submit small collections within this task thread (up to 5 items) based on these; it could be plants, animals, or even locations.

See the following for an example, though these are brief and you are welcome to be a little more verbose and colourful.

Inspired by Trandoshan Fingers, these delicate sandals bear the colours of the water-dwelling reed.
Theorised to be less likely to cause blisters than the plant itself - just!

The Snow Rose of Zula IV cannot survive in the warmth, but this elegant ensemble has no such issues. It may however cause viewers to experience that same feeling of intoxication as its inspiration when they look upon the wearer in all their stunning, pale glory.

Drawing from the allure of the Acid Casket’s delicate flowers, this sharp number will certainly turn heads at the next event. Fortunately it lacks the acid-filled pitchers of its namesake, retaining only the charm.

The task will run until 1st of April at midnight. If your entries are not posted by then, the joke's on you!

Lord Arazhar,

My son, Treilyn (aged 5 and 8 months) has created the hat design below (with a little help on the fine detail) which is based on the famed Preep of Zula IV. Ideal for a spring day on Zula where it's still cold in the mountains.

Also, there's a butterfly and flower, because spring.

Lord Arazhar,
I got inspired by the Ironclaw Bruen of Yankun while I was looking over the beasts of that system.
It shows the toughness of the Ironclaw, while also having a hidden beauty underneath it, just like Yankun.

Lord Arazhar,

I would be remiss were I not to showcase some of Damolla's sea life and vibrant colors.

Drawing inspiration from the Nethralith, Luminescent Guardian of Damolla's oceans, this dress embodies the sea and its majesty while providing the wearer with an organic, flowing vision that will shine at any high-fashion event.

A jacket and shoes combo, this attire is inspired by the Haunga Nui. While it might make a 'big stink' in the fashion world, it certainly allows the wearer to showcase their own personal style.

The final combination is drawn from two more of the deep denizens of Damolla's ocean landscape; the Blubanir and the Kowhai Uira. Matching smarts with simplicity and elegance in motion, this asymetrical pairing marries two sides of the food chain in one flowing outfit.

Hello Lord Arazhar. I have some ideas. I like the colours and patterns of the Fungoid Spiker, so here are designs for a top and a skirt. For the top the collar is high and black and narrow, like the lower body of the animal. The upper part is mostly white with the folds and pattern of the underneath of the animal. The lower part is like the top of the animal, red and black with small white dots, with ribs like the legs of the animal. The skirt is the same colour pattern as the animal but upside down, and ends with fabric to look like the spikes of the top of the animal.

The coat is like the Browed Toad. Green with the collar and the ends of the sleeves like the sharp eyebrows, and the bottom of the coat is like its pointy tail. I could not decide whether the inside should be grey or a darker green.

OOC: I ripped off the design of Daisy Viktoria's Minoan skirt for the top right-hand design as it's well cool.

Lord Arazhar,

I have come up with a design for a poncho that draws inspiration from the Elptera, a large avian species found on Zula IV. Their fierce yet elegant appearance combined with their migratory nature called for something practical, outdoors, yet beautiful. Something that could withstand the weather while at the same time would not look out of place at a graceful party. I combined these ideas into a stylish poncho with three varieties in colour.

The creature's own palette and patterns lended itself nicely for two varieties; light and dark. A third blue option was added to represent their migrational routes over the seas.

Lord Arazhar,

I thought that of all the worlds within the Dominion, Ixarum could probably do with a hint of 'spring'. So I used the infamous Pasir Naga for inspiration. Using primary shades of beige and taupe with an accent of burnished copper and ember orange.

Bringing a bit of warmth into the spring collection. The dress is fashioned with overlapping plates of textured silk to match the creatures scales with an amber gemstone set at the centre of the bodice for the creature's eyes. The underskirt would be a sheer sand-coloured chiffon layer to give the appearance of the desert sand. The dress is paired with copper coloured arm cuffs and claw inspired heels.

There is also a male version made from mostly embossed leather for the scaled pattern with copper accents. Beyond that, it is mostly the same design, just with an extra crown made from burnished copper and with a matching jewel at it's centre.

For the second option, I thought that a trip to Yankun to be in order. And what could mean spring more than large amphibious swamp creatures. So I used the Swampstriders for inspiration.

Moss green silk makes up the majority of the dress with fine cords to mimic vines. Layers of handmade silk flowers adorn the dress to give it a more spring(y?) feel. I was tempted to make the heels longer in order to better recreate the creatures appearance. But thought it best to avoid having people walking around in stilts, humorous though that may be, I instead opted for heeled boots with sheer silk calves and more fine cords embroidered into it. The sleeves are much the same in concept.
